I took out the screws and can't even pry it out. Is there a trick or am I missing something? The speedo didn't work on the maiden voyage today and I discovered it wasn't hooked up. The temp and gas gauge don't work either so I figure I'll look at them when (if)I get it out. Does the cluster need to tilt or come out some special way, like bottom first? | | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 | 60-63 dash panels seem to be a problem. I have problems with my 63 every time I take it out. Sometimes a good whack on the back will jar it out enough to work it the rest the way. From what I've been able to tell it seems to be the clip-on nuts for the screws hang up on the panel. Try slipping some putty knives in where the screws were removed and see if that helps.
