Anybodyhave pictures to compare the drop and regular spindles? How high off the ground do the drop spindles put the frontend? Thanks lots. | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 58 Member | Member Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 58 | FoxJ, have a look at this picture from my 38 I think the frames and heights will be similar. These are stock spindles and at the end of the frame the height is about 12-13 inches. That's without the motor or full radiator etc.etc. Adding all the running gear, fluids and sheet metal will bring it down to approx. 9-10. If you used the extra 2 inch drop spindles, your truck will probably be hitting every bump in the road. http://community.webshots.com/photo/26859003/41133100InrrlQ | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 22 Member | Member Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 22 | the mustang suspension as it came on the mustang will drop your ride height considerably to start with.....look at the photo of the truck with the S-10 front supension....building in the additional 2" drop will mean you will be scraping things going in and out of parking lots etc....we do not want to scrap off what we spent all that money to put on....*smile* | | |
