I'm going to be switching from 6 to 12 on my 53 3100. The only question I have is about the aftermarket turn signal. Does it have to be 6 or will 12 work fine?

It's a Signal-Stat Sigflare 900.

Thanks, Spencer

you just need to use a 12V flasher, the control and wiring don't matter

You have the same model as mine, and as he said, it will be fine. As someone here put it when they told me, the turn signal is only to direct current.

Some have a pilot light in the switch. The bulb would need to be changed.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

If I'm not mistaken, since I have the same model, there's three very small lights in the signal indicator. I didn't know if they had to be changed or not.
