hello again guys. hope im not driving you guys crazy yet, but got one more question on lowering my truck.
anyone got any experience, thoughts, about using lowering leaf springs on the front and back of my 57 3100 ?
i heard of bump steer posibility in front with lowered leafs ?
i realize it will put the axle closer tot he froma, bump stops. or could i just start taking out one leaf at a time to get desired lower height ?
i want to lower about 3-4 inches in front and back. if i can get away without buying a lowerd front axle, fine. but dont want to sacrifice too much of ride quality.
i knwo with dropped axle i will have full suspension travel. just not sure about lowered leafs, especially in front.
1957 chevy 3100, 350 small block, th 350 trans, 80's truck rear. currently got drums all the way around, with a front disc upgrade hopefully soon.
thanks in advance guys.. like i said, hope im not driving you guys nuts. LOL.
