I want to keep the three on the tree. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | There are a number of 3 speeds that will fit your truck if you are converting to an open driveline. The most common is from 55 through 60. You can also use an overdrive from those years. Later models with the short tail shaft will fit also. Full syncro Saganaw 3 speeds came out in 68 and can also be used. You will have to work out some shifter and driveshaft issues but there are many options. I understand that a kit is available to use a saganaw 3 speed with the torque tube. There are others that can provide that info. Fred
