butch,

I am 93.5% sure there is no rebuild kit, but you might hunt around mainstream parts stores for the new one as this pump might not be a true 'specialty' item...you might save some $$$$.

butch,

Kragen lists a rebuilt pump with a 5/8" pulley for $50.99. It has a one year warranty. Item #58125.

butch,

I am 99.9% sure there is no rebuild kit, just had to “one up” ya Stu! I’ve been looking for a kit for over a year Butch, they make more money by selling you the labor than the parts so the only way now is to either buy new or rebuilt.
I bought one last summer from Rock Auto and the price was about the same as a rebuilt ($67.79 now) and the casting and pulley were very nicely made. And I AM……a picky SOB!

I went with a new pump from my local parts store (no core,a spare to rebuild, new pulley, etc.). Looks great but when I went to put the fan back on I discovered that the pulley shoulder under the fan was squared off instead of round like the original and interfered with the rivets on the fan. A little grinding took care of the problem but be careful. If I had used it like it was it could have led to fan blade failure.

Yes Don's right on that. I did have to touch the pulley in four spots with the dremel for rivet clearance. That said, The pully and hub is a single piece machined from a casting, which in my opinion is a better design than the hub and pressed pulley that it originally had. It runs much more true than before.
