Then there are 3 others on the other side labeled with the numbers 2, 3, and 4. Thanks for any help | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 |

The dome light on my 49 has a switch on it. Can I have it both ways? Bill | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | Sure Bill, the circuits for the dome light and tail light are directly conected to the thermal cut out so they're on all the time no matter what the position of the pull knob. And obvously they have their own on/off switches. If these circuits short out the contacts should open. That is, if no one has messed with the calibration by bending the bimetal mounting point. The only thing connected before the thermal cut out, directly to the bus/battery terminal would be an accesory that would require an inline fuse in it's circuit. This picture along with the diagram show it pretty clearly. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2038752540098611668EYQvfw Denny Graham Sandwich, IL
