Dan ,
If ya search a bit you will find that ya should add some xtra support to your cab before cuttin out as much as you are plannin ..some x-braces will be needed to keep it all in line ..after that ...IM sure the EXPERTS will chime in soon on the particulars .
WELCOME TO THE BOLT !

Thanks SW. , Advice well takin ...
I am learning as I go , I think the supports are called Front cab floor supports.... However ther seems to be 2 sizes listed in the catalog...
1 is 4 3/4"W x 14 1/2"L and the other is 7 1/4"W x 14 1/8"l
is this based on year and which one would a 1966 take ?
Thanks

Is the bolt you are trying to remove through the floor board and front cab support into the frame? If so, once the nut is removed from the bottom, the bolt is free to pull out. You may need to use a drift punch or air chisel from the underside to coax it out, due to rust and corrosion.

When replacing the front and rear cab supports, get the full replacements, not the cab supports that fit over the existing. If you slip new ones over the old, you are compounding the problem that created the rust in the first place. Also, when replacing the cab mounts, jack up each corner of the cab and insert a wood spacer that holds the cab approximately 1" about its actual resting height, in order to have room to manuever. After the cab supports are replaced, insert new cab mounting hardware and rubber/polyurethane spacers and remove the temporary wood blocks. Check cab alignment and securely tighten new cab mounting bolts.

Good luck with your project and I hope this information is helpful.
