What do you recommend as a donor for a gas tank for a 50 AD short 1/2? I want to mount it in the frame and will be running a 650 carb.
If a donor tank is out of the question how about new?
Thanks in advance,Jeff

Depends on how you want to install it. I have seen some people use a fuel cell, with the filler door in the bed of the truck.

But another tank that might work pretty slick is one for a 1969 Firebird/Camaro. It's not a real deep tank, but holds 16 or so gallons, and has an extended fuel neck out to the rear that could be positioned so that it's under the tailgate. That's what I'm going to try to use.

Check your measurements and start looking for what will fit and suit your purposes. The 80s blazer is used by a lot of AD owners. I had a custom aluminum 20 gal. built.
