For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 | I apologize for not introducing myself sooner. It such a useful and friendly resource. It kind of reminds me of going with dad to the barber shop. (The one who still used a straight-edge razor). There's a lot of history to learn, and so many stories, I lost count.

I too am in Central TX (San Antonio)... (and may be in need of that tow truck someday...!) Either way, welcome! Being a Hot-Shot driver I get through there from time to time... Hopefully you wont be in NEED of the fire truck, as 1: at the rate it is going it will be 10yrs before it goes anywhere... 2: currently it is in the valley (McAllen area) But... either way... I think we need to try to figure out how many "Bolters we have in the Central TX area and have a get together, if there isn't one already that I just don't know about yet... the map is kinda barren in this area! http://www.oldtruckstuff.com/rally/membermap.phpLaterz, Gator >|--|~ | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 166 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 166 | Welcome to the Bolt!

Bastrop was always my grandparents favorite area to pull their 5th wheel. I'm planning on making reservations for later in the year soon. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 | Yep - I live about 6 miles from the entrance of Bastrop State Park. That's what I call dedication. Your '51 looks awesome! Looking forward to more pics. My tow truck is going to nickel and dime me(50's and 100's) for quite a while. I have it on an allowance. I'm 39, and my Father has owned it since I was 1, and did only maint. and few repairs. I have a long road ahead of me, but isn't it all about the ride? | | |
