Been trying to gather some info on Fulton-type Visors for a 54-55 1st series truck. Been through the gallery and have seen some and would appreciate any info you might have. I've put a WTB on the swap meet.

Dave

BTW...just wanted to add that the Fulton Visor for the 54-55-1st is different than for the 47-53. I'd like to get info that was specific to that 1 piece visor. Thanks in advance.

Dave,

It would be interesting to see a Fulton advertisement for the 54/55 sunvisor. Maybe the style changed for use with the one-piece windshield? There was a GM a sunvisor in 54/55 but I do not know if GM made a truck sunvisor between 47-54.

If you want contact-information for a person who most likely has correct information on both GM and Fulton sunvisors (and he knows where you might buy them), send me a message.

Thanks guys for the information. Will just have to beat the bushes and see if I can line up one.

Greg, I went through all the 54 Gallery and found half a dozen with the Fulton Visors....also found one that was a different shape but it doesn't look like the repo folks retooled to make visors for the 54-55 1st trucks. Have contacted a guy in AZ who is supposed to have some originals for sale.

Thanks again,

Dave

Keith put that visor on his truck after he bought it and the last time I had e-mailed him, he was actually considering selling off the truck and parts he had collected. Or at least that was the impression I was left with. It may all be gone by now or he may have even decided to keep it all after all.
