If so where on the frame would it be located?? Question was asked of me by a friend in England who just imported a 1950 1/2 ton.

This truck was imported to England from Calif. and the PO had a new ID tag made and this is what is causing the problem with the English Gov. they don't think the # are good because the plate is new. Will pass along the info.
