| | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | It is hard to guess at the size socket it will take, but should be 1" or bigger. Lug nuts may not be original. If they are the same as my 2 ton, then the studs are 5/8-18, and take a 1" to a 1-1/16" socket, again, depending on lug nuts.
A good bottle jack and a strong 1/2" breaker bar should do the trick. Some extra blocks or a jack stand would add to the safety.
Block front wheel both front and back. Loosen all the nuts on one side at the rear, Remove all but two, Jack up that side just off the ground, Remove the last two nuts, Remove outer wheel, Reinstall the lug nuts. Repeat for other side.

I wanted him to throw it is as part of the deal, but he didn't go for it.
You need one of those.
