For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 | I have a 1961 Chevy truck, you can see it in my signature line link. Anyways, I have recently removed the seat, gas tank, and floor coverings. I am wondering what a good paint or coating would be to put on the cab floor. Right now it is kind fo a pale greenish siver, that is not all together unattractive. So there is some surface rust that I plan on taking off and then primering and painting the inside. I am not looking to do a full resto on the interior. The same seat and such will go back in, but while it's all apart I would like to fix the problems I have encountered. Thanks!
Kyle

Turned out real nice and helps with the road noise.

I read articles for months, used primer then spray paint and in the end I tried POR15 and it is what it says it is and does what it says. Its tough, gloss or satin, long lasting and one coat will do most things. In the end its cheaper than rattle cans and then rattle paint!! Just my .02 | | |
