Just "traded" for a 48 that looks like it was a high school rebuild project, tore apart and various attempts at a restore. Looks like most everything is there, fairly decent 5 window cab with no rot, 216 "used" to run. No bed but I have an old GMC bed I could slip on.

Question is... Is it worth trying to restore, or should I just sell / swap / trade or maybe part out. Looks like a need for good 5 window cabs.

I ask csuse I'm used to the bigger bolt stuff.

If it's all there and it's torn down then part of the job is already done. Get started...

rebuild when the weather permits, doesn't sound like you would have a great deal in your truck if you "traded" somebody for it. it will most likely turn out better than you thought

You might consider building a flatbed for it if you don't already have the box. My little web page below shows my flatbed if you scroll down a bit. I had the 8-foot box to put on but I sold it and kept the flatbed. I like it a lot.
