Does anyone have a good picture of how & where the throttle cable should be hooked up to the carb and/or linkage? If not, a good description would help. My is disconnected and I would like to fix it.

There is a bracket on the carb that has two hold-down screws; one for a cable to hook to the carb for the choke. I assume the other, which makes the cable face downward is for the throttle. The only place I can find that it might hook up to is the throttle linkage that hooks to the carb but the tab is about 12" lower than the carb. I believe this would cause it to interview with the pedal inside the cab.

I'll look for a photo but maybe I can explain how I did mine.

The vertical throttle linkage from the block to the carb has a right angle bend at the top. The short piece of the bend goes through the carb throttle lever. It has a hole at the end and was held in place with cotter pin when I got my truck. I put my throttle cable through that hole and put a cable clamp on the end of the cable. You also have to clamp the outer part of the throttle cable vertically pointing down.
