Is it upside down(wire connections facing down) or right side up? I have been told by some that they came upside down while others say right side up. thanks-- :confused: slowgoer

However, many people install the coil upwards because it is easier to make connections (during installation or when timing the ignition) or because they think it will keep the coil from dripping out the fluid it is filled with (PCBs?) or because they like the way it looks or because that is the way they have always seen them installed.

Can't argue with that, right? 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
