If i recall right where you put your feet the carpet went just under the front of the seat, enough to go under the front leg of the seat. it was a little longer on the tranny hump, and on the sides it was just an inch or so short of the length of the sill plate.
i love my dog's 1965 suburban.

Make yourself a pattern with some heavy craft paper ( or cheap carpet) and take it to a local upholstry shop. They can cut a piece and bind the edges as well. Should be about the same price as mailorder. Good luck
