I have installed the front IFS from a 78 1/2 ton. It is about 7 incehs wider than the stock one. I am considering narrowing it 1.5" as Mobileortho has done with his 3600, but that still will not be near enough. I am also planning to lower the front end using drop spindles and springs to match the flipped rear (dropped 6"). I would like to know if there are soem factory 5 lug on 5.0" bolt circle wheels out there with LOTS of backspace. I have heard wheels from a late model Impala SS might work, but do not have any specs on them. I would like to have same wheels front and back so can rotate and have one spare. Don't really care what size, 15, 16 or 17".
Mobileortho - have seen some past posts from you with links to others that have done this swap. Then you can order them in any offset. The only factory wheels I know of with that large of an offset are either Corvette Wheels (4.75" BC) or Duallies.

I tried to put Corvette wheels on an older car once and had tie rod issues, which I suspect would happen on most anything not designed for that much offset.
Check Chevy van wheels for fit. I know others have used G20 Van wheels successfully.

As to the Impala SS wheels, they have the same backspace as the truck wheel. They also will not fit onto the truck hubs (although the truck wheels will fit the Impala, that's what GM used for the police car package).
Going aftermarket will be the best bet. Most wheel makers (Weld, American Racing, Wheel Vintiques, Early Wheel Company, Stockton) will make you a set of wheels in any offset/backspace you want.
