Yah know like you have to turn the ignition switch key a few times before it starts? I'm suppose tah be @ 10 BTDS and I think I'm @ about 15 or 20. I do hear a little bit of back fire when I let off the gas completely and comeing down off a high RPM. Any ideas appreciated! Adios, Kip

If the timing is too far advanced, the starter could have a hard time cranking. Your problem may be the solenoid itself or the wiring to it, or the ignition switch or the park/neutral switch(es). | | |

Right now I get a little tin can sounding backfire, again I get backfire letting off the gas completely at a high RPM in gear. I have dual exhaust, no cats, MSD6A and run at least 88 octane. I like running it a little close to ping about 20 BTDC no backfire then, But alot of people includeing I think it was Chip said to run it at spec set with a light. So I compromised and set it at 12. Anyway I'm gonna take the silenoid off and check it. Adios, Kip
