I took the front off but didn't see anything to replace.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 110 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 110 | Hi, ole lonely, I don't know if my memory serves me will or not, but on the old radios (I assume that you are using an old one) the dial light was in a socket that snaps on the top near the front. I'm not sure of the set-up in your vehicle but it may be possible to access it through the ash tray or maybe you can reach around and on top. Then, it might be that you will have to take it out. That's the best I can help with my memory. Its been a long time.

I just went out and looked at my 91 out of curousity and I couldn't get my hand anywhere near the radio. Maybe if you took off the panel under the sector, you can reach the socket wherever it is. Best ask a service man at the dealer.

I tried once, took the front cover off and only managed to burn out a couple more. It's all agreat mistery.
