I added Vintage a/c condensor and transmission oil cooler, making electric fan mounting tough. So we removed the fan and installed a 16" electric fan w/shroud. Perfecto! And I can't hear the fan at all -- note: we wired the fan through the ignition so it doesn't keep running when I turn the engine off, You can Check It Out Here.

It is a 2400 CFM fan, and it keeps the 261 cool in the local weather, which rarely hits 95 in the summer. For a 350 I would get a higher CFM fan, in the 3000 range. I put it in mainly for clearance reasons.

I don't know the part numbers -- my mechanic ordered everything. The shroud was ordered with the Walker radiator ... he ordered the 16-inch electric fan locally. What I do know, is the fan has "S" shaped blades -- he said those are the quietest ... and he was right -- I never hear it!
