i cant find any info on replacing my oil lines on my 59 gmc 270 motor! most of my lines are brittle or cracked ! where can some be purchased ? i thought somebody on this site had a article ? i also need a picture of the bottom side of the front motor mount,does it use a plate/ washers or ? w std nuts or a locking nut or? thanks mike

The 55-59 GMC Truck Maintenance Manual which is online at the Keith Hardy site has a cutaway drawing of the front mount of the 270 on page 361 of the engine section.

I carried my old lines and fittings to a W W Grainger store not far from me. They asked what pressure I needed. I suggested 60 psi. The supplied a 5000 psi hydraulic line (the 5000 is not a typo) with appropriate fittings to accomodate each end of both lines. Don't remember the cost, but was very reasoneable.
