I ordered a master rebuild kit from Patrick's, and it comes with iron rings. I'm going to use cast flattop pistons, shaved head, cam, 4 bbl, fentons, HEI.

#35326 01/08/2002 4:22 PM | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | the rings should be the same for the piston.I believe the cross-hatch(scratch marks made from honing are suppose to be at a different angle for each type of ring.45*angle for the cast iron ring and I cannot recall off the bottom of my head  which angle is used for the moly rings.Someone here will probably answer befor I remember!
