I am going theu all the recovery "stuff" with my wrecker and I need to know how the ground anchors work. I have 3, the same style you have, with 10 ground stakes, also I am looking for a V tow bar, the same style as you have pictured, other than that I have all the recovery tools that came with my wrecker.

John, Those ground anchors are lined up end to end, like I show on my webshots photos. http://rides.webshots.com/album/549815838iTicjc Three stakes per eyelet, with the remaining stake, used in the last hole of the trailing anchor. These were more often used when the booms were split for side pulls, one boom used for the pull, the other boom used as the anchor, for the truck. "Pm", me your mailing address, & I'll send you some photo copies from one of my Holmes operating manuals. As for the "V" Tow Bars, they are very hard to find. I have two sets of the Medium Duty "V" Tow Bars http://rides.webshots.com/album/549817164MzyCjf , but you will need a set of the larger Heavy Duty "V" Tow Bars. I have a set of them, but the previous owner modified them into a set of floor jack stands.
