I needed the 6 bolt to fit the crank flange on a GMC 302 which is replacing a 228. I had hoped to use the pressure plate off of a 228 but I see that the 228 has 9 bolts for the pressure plate and the 248 flywheel has 6 bolts that hold on the pressure plate. Is there an easily available pressure plate I can use or do I have to call the junk yard back and buy the 248 pressure plate?

When I went through this a few years ago, there was no other clutch avalable that would work with that bolt pattern and still fit inside the GMC bellhousing. | | |
