I've been sorely tempted to indulge in a 2X1 manifold for my '37. I bid on an Edelbrock on eBay but missed it (I hope a 'bolter got it!).
I think it had Rochester carbs on it and i had read that they weren't exactly prize winners.

They sure do look purdy though!

Some miss information in the posting as one of the post said the 194 had more incommon with the SB V-8's. Not so the 194 was the first stovebolt 6 engine that was used in Chevy cars and trucks starting in 1929. It was the original "STOVEBOLT".

It's true the first stovebolts in 1929 were 194 cu.in. and Chevy came out with a 194 cu. in engine again some time in the later 1960's but I belive it was a 4 cylinder in the chevy II
