I recently posted this on another truck board and I got some good responses but was wondering if anyone over here would have any comments or info to offer.

I used to drive a '62 GMC 6500 Conventional for a company I worked for. It had a 478 V-6, 5-Speed Trans, 2-Speed Rear, Air Brakes, 10-20 Tires, Spokes Wheels, and a GVW of about 32,000. To this day I've seen plenty of '60 to '66 5000 models, but have never seen anything larger in the Conventional line and never saw another 6500. Altho, someone did post an interesting brochure for me tho.

Anyone out there familiar with an old 6500?

Click onto this link, and look at the add for the 1966 650.
