My new pen came with two cup like pieces that are about 1/2 in long and fit over the pin. How are these used fellas?

These go inside up against the two holes in the hinge body. The actual hinge piece then slides in and you push the pin through all the pieces. I don't know if you have read the post below but this is the way to do it. They act as shims so the hinge going to the door contacts them top and bottom. If you drill as described in the post they will neatly fit into the new holes. At least mine did, I bought the kit from Classic Parts
