I need some help on my 51, 3600. The wheels on the truck are shot...rusted out from sitting in a barn for 24 years. I'd like to buy new wheels but would like to avoid the split rings. Is there an 8 bolt wheel on the market that I can buy?

Been alot of talk about Pacer trailer wheels (I think I got it right) that fit the AD trucks very well. This subject was discussed recently. If you do a search, you should be able to find it easily. As to fitment, you want no more than 3 1/2" of backspacing to clear the tie rods.

There are a couple different soloutions you'll find in the archived forums. Which by the way, I just fiqured out why it was not archiving for me was because i wasn't setting the date further back than one week. I quess my computer is only as smart as the operator.

Finally I hit the Jack Pot.

My uncle had a older trailer which had the wheels I wanted. So I tried to fit them and it worked.

Even the hub caps appear to fit perfectly once I get the clips.

I ordered the 16 x 6, 8 lug wheels (A-17-153-65), but there are a couple various options that might work.
The price was $62.75 per wheel.
I ordered 5 so I could have a side mounted full size spare

Shipping was $89 dollars and only took the 2 days to deliver to my door step.
Total price was $406.14 which I tought was good compared to other options.
The wheel came in black gloss which is what I wanted and looked very similar to stock split rims

Best part is that this wheel has 3.5 backspacing which clears tie rods with out spacers needed, barely.
