For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 2 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 2 | I am looking for info on what was used as a original front motor mount for a 1932 chevy 1 1/2 ton. Mine appears to just mount metal to metal with 2 spring loaded bolts. I have a rubber mount for a car but it would be too thick as the hand crank holes would not line up. It just doesn't seem right to not have some sort of cushion between the motor and frame. Any thoughts, comments, pictures would be greatly appreciated. I cut a piece of inner tube and put between the frame and engine. Chevy didn't start using a rubber front mount on the front until 1933.

The 32 car mounting was all rubber you could adapt the front and rear mounts to your truck. The filling Station vendor has all the mounts.
