I am looking for info on what was used as a original front motor mount for a 1932 chevy 1 1/2 ton. Mine appears to just mount metal to metal with 2 spring loaded bolts. I have a rubber mount for a car but it would be too thick as the hand crank holes would not line up. It just doesn't seem right to not have some sort of cushion between the motor and frame. Any thoughts, comments, pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Glenn

I don't belive there is any mount. I cut a piece of inner tube and put between the frame and engine. (Made me feel better)

The front engine mount is what you have two spring loaded bolts and the two mounts at the clutch housing are solid mount "L" brackets. Chevy didn't start using a rubber front mount on the front until 1933.

I don't think it will do much good for noise isolation as the rear mounts are solid. The 32 car mounting was all rubber you could adapt the front and rear mounts to your truck. The filling Station vendor has all the mounts.
