Ihave a 51 5 window, that I am hot rodding, 350, 700R4, 9" rearend. My question, is, I wish to use updated original springs with the springs under the axle ... what brackets/mounts can be used and is there a u-bolt setup with shock mount attatched that can be used...example s10 spring perches??

I have just done this on my 51, You can get spring pad kit with u-bolts and shock mounts from chevy duty or ccp, Kit is about eighty dollars or so. Old navy 51......................
