I want to swap out my 2WD stuff and roll 4WD stuff under my 66 C-10 longbed. Anybody ever attempt this with the stock 2WD frame?
I know that NAPCO did these conversions from the factory for customers. I just cant beleive that i would have to swap a frame out and go through all the hassle of lining up the body onto a different chassis. (along with the body mounts, ect). Somebody, in the history of man must have done this and knows about the pitfalls. If you have pictures, or a good description, that would help. By the way, im planning on using 1983 10 bolt front and rear, 350/350 combo and a 203 t-case thats going to be converted to part time. I know ill have to find a different trans tunnel too. This is the second time ive posted this and i got some good feedback last time and thanks, just looking for some more if i can. Every little bit helps!

The swap should be possible. Try the link below you may find more help there as some of the members do swaps like this all the time. Go to the forums and look at the 60-66 forum. Best of luck
