For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 97 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 97 | I'm trying to find draglites or something for my truck. It's got a 5x5 patern on it but draglites only come 5x4.5 or 5x4.75. I can run an adapter on the rear but for the front I can't.
Do any of the car rotors work? I assume I would need a different bearing?
Thanks in advance.

I used an extra bearing race for a spacer but otherwise unchanged. This was done over 20 years ago and no problems since. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | The truck spindls are larger than than passenger. I don't think there's any bearing that will aloow a car spindle to fit without sacrificing strength. Perhaps you could have the spndles redrilled for the 5x4.75 pattern? I'd suggest the same on the rear, rather than adapters, especially if the truck is going to hit the track. I don't beleive that adapters are legal for use for racing, and I wouldn't trust them, seen too many failures.
