Are you running just the front, or the front and rear?
That C4 suspension stuff is about as good as a front motor and transmission with rear drive gets, but remember it was engineered for a very low car with a wheelbase under 100 inches and for some pretty wide tires, 255s being the narrowest I believe were ever put on it. Your choice of coilovers might be the determining factor. The C4 used a fiberglass leaf spring originally that was pretty stiff and contributed a lot to the handling of the car.
If the rest of the truck is executed as a sports car with low center of gravity handling could be fantastic. My daily driver is a C4 Corvette with the stiffer suspension package and fancy shocks. It rides rougher than some trucks but handles like nothing else I've ever driven.

I have C4 IRS / IFS handy for one of my projects. I have also looked into a Jag IRS from the local salvage yard. All will require a bit of fabrication.

Wide tires also are a great help in the handling department.

I would think those doing an IFS/IRS would be doing something similar.
