problem? any help would be awesome thanks

I'm in Dallas, and we've got a bunch of Stovebolters around this area. There might be somebody that could come by and help you out.
I have no idea what you mean by "sucked a ring".
The symptoms you describe could be almost anything. It's hard to say without putting my hands on the truck, but I'd check to make sure you've got good spark and shoot some carb spray down the carb. If it won't start then, it'll take more work to get it goin'. | | |

First, I would check the fuel filter. then look inside the carb. Could be water in the bowl. Does the fuel pump work? Disconnect the fuel line to the carb, stick it in a pop bottle that you can see through, and have someone crank the engine. If not, check the flow out of the tank and the line from the tank to the pump. And be sure to check to see if you have spark.

But i found out it is not the ring in fact it is a blown head gasket instead ( a whole lot easier to fix) well thanks for the help and i live in fort worth thanks again
