I have searched about quite a bit and have not been able to find any info on 1960-1962 Disc Brake Conversion kits/options. Can someone tell me if this is an option and if so, is it a kit or am I looking at a whole new front end?

I'm sure You will get better info but you arn't looking at a new front end. I have a 62 with a 68 front end and will be watching this post to see what you find

I have found my 4wd chassis so I need to sell my 2wd chassis I have started to restore and upgrade. It has been converted to 5 lug wheels. Disk brakes up front from a 85 half ton. It has the big factory brakes and swaybar. All new front end components. Tie rods, bushings, ball joints and hardware. 3 inch drop coils in front and 4 inch drop coils in rear. 12 bolt rear with 3:73 gears. It is set up for a small block. Includes the wheels in pictures.

Not sure if any of you are aware of the kit that Brothers now offers for 60-62 disc brake conversions. The add states: "This is the kit that our customers have been asking about for a long time, and it's here. BROTHERS kit includes: stock spindles, brake hoses, wheel bearings, seals, bolts, dust caps, calipers, pads, custom 6 lug rotors and detailed instructions. It fits 1/2 ton trucks only. Bolt pattern is 6 x 5.5". NOTE These do not work on stock rims

check out www.67-72chevytrucks site and go to the 60'-66' forum they had a article doing that conversion using late model rotors (88'+) to keep the 6-lug
