the number stamped on the ledge behind the distributor is T1 29164 and the casting number on the block is 3835253. it appears to be a 216 CI, 2 bolts through the valve cover and tall push rod cover.
The casting number in the block leads me, depending on the source I check, to say it is possibly the original engine. I just can't find anyway to decipher the stamped number behind the distributor.
