im trying to install these carboard door panenls on my truck with no luck.i got them from cd and they where cheap so i wasn"t expecting much but the problem is with the door handle it pushes them out rite above the handle it seems the flat bar from the handle to the door lacth should be flipped over so it goes into the indention but it wont work that way.anyone with a picture maybe.

Mine's the same way. It bows out from the hardware and there is no other way to mount the hardware. I put a little bend in the SS frame so it hugs the door on the perimeter. Just the way it is, I reckon.

The original door panel frames were "kinked" to follow the contour of the door.

Bobhas it right. You need to bend the frame to match the door shape. It is also important that you put the "spacers" under the panel. There are two. Both rectangular in shape. They are about a half inch wide, maybe 2 inches long, and about a 1/" thick. One is glued (use 3m adhesive) just above the triangular piece of the remote control arm. The other goes vertically at the latch side of the long hole. These keep the remote control arm from rubbing against the cardboard. BTW, if you spray the back of the cardboard with clear coat or even paint, it'll withstand humidity a lot better.
