Does anyone have measurements for where the holes should go? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | careful about using someone elses measurements! it would depend on the width of the boards, and where the holes in the skid strips are, which is why they make sills without holes - if you don't have holes in the skid strips, you need to lay it all out yourself, if the skids have holes, lay up the whole floor and mark the sills thru the skids

The holes will be along the center of the cross sill and aligned with the holes in the rear sill. If this is for your 49, there are 8 bed strip holes for 1/4" bolts and two angle strip holes for 5/16" bolts. Matching them to the holes in the rear sill is a very accurate way to get them right and then everything will line up. Drill about 1/2" holes for the bed-to-frame bolts spaced to match the frame mounting holes. Front cross sill has extra holes on its forward face to bolt it to the front bed panel, aligned with holes in the flange of the front bed panel.
I am curious, why did you buy them without holes?
