old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 82 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 82 | Is it really necessary to remove the bed completely from the frame on my 58 stepside when replacing bed wood? Most of wood on mine has rotted out and it appears from what I can see that this should be possible without having to resort to the entire removal of the bed from the frame.
I have just finished a major mechanical rebuild, and I am not looking forward to having the truck spread all over the garage again. Anybody know if this is possible?
