and, hypotheticaally speaking, would the tail shaft & housing, bolt up to a 4 speed, like sm-420/sm-465, what have you, and work?
just something that has been on my mind lately.

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint. doing it all myself. 19 and lovin' it. "proper" is so over-rated. .later days. .sam.

I read that the 3 speed O/D will bolt to the Saginaw 4 speed but our 4 speeds are usually Muncie SM units, aren't they? | | |
