The fuel filter in the truck is an old glass one with a paper filter. I cant find a new paper filter and cant get a part number for a new compatible filter and housing. Do I just take the old one to the store and try to match it uo with a new one or is there a better way. | | |

Hastings filters makes that filter in a couple of sizes. Take some measurements and go to the back of the Filter book. You will find something if you don't send me the dimension and I will look it up for you, just drop me an email. It maight take me a day or two to get you the part number.

If the body is glass and the ends are chrome, see if the castings say Purolator. If so, Advance Auto sells the replacements. | | |
