During a 1600 mile trip in my 1 ton the rear motor mount let go.
every body sells a motor mount for the 1/2 ton but could not see a listing for a 1 ton. Are the motor mounts the same in 1/2 and 1 ton or not?
Who knows where to find som which would fit?

Should be the same as a 3/4 ton..........We are talking about an AD truck, right?
Most auto parts stores will carry stuff for 3/4 ton. Sometimes you have to order stuff for the bigger trucks........that's what makes them harder to restore/maintain.
Hope you get it fixed; it's good to see you are cruising an old 1 ton cool smile

yes it is a AD 1ton 1953.
can't find anybody which has 3/4 or 1 ton motor mounts. Any body has any idea where whom to contact.

Will try to take the old one out and take some measurments to see what could be done

The Filling Station shows a mount in their catalog. 1939-53 GMC 1/2 to 2 ton, would that be the same

Just about any of the vendors have the mounts. I got mine through my local parts store, he had to order them.
