The drive gear on the distributor is worn enough that I feel it will affect the timming. I have be unable to locate a new gear and pin or a rebuilt distributor, so my question is. What year vehicles distributor will fit my application? Or am I stuck trying to locate a gear for my original unit? | | |

Not used any other years. I assume that the engine is stock, I know very little (i.e., nothing) about those early vehicles. | | |

I am trying my best to restore the truck as close to original as possible. But, it has taking me three years and two motors to come up with a rolling chassis. Not sure I am going the correct route?
