His problems have to do with his brakes. He recently replaced the rear drums on the tandem rear axle and I believe added new shoes front and rear. The newest problem that has come up is, the truck sat running for about 45 minutes. When he went to move it the brakes were frozen! He thinks that since the brake lines run with in 1/2" of the exhuast that the heat is warming up the fluid in the lines and then in the master cylinder, causing the brakes to lock up. He admits that it's a long shot but doesn't know what else could cause this problem

The pushrod needs to be loose enough to let the fluid drain back into the reservoir leaving only 2 psi in the line when the pedal is released. The heat to the brake lines is bad, but it usually causes the brake fluid to boil leaving a lack of fluid, not pressure. Have him adjust the master cylinder pushrod and if that doesn't work the compensator port in the MC is plugged up.

As 4onthefloor stated try adjusting the linkage to the push-rod at the master cylinder.I believe it should have 1/8th inch free-play.
