A friend has a 62' GMC car hauler that he recently bought. His problems have to do with his brakes. He recently replaced the rear drums on the tandem rear axle and I believe added new shoes front and rear. The newest problem that has come up is, the truck sat running for about 45 minutes. When he went to move it the brakes were frozen! He thinks that since the brake lines run with in 1/2" of the exhuast that the heat is warming up the fluid in the lines and then in the master cylinder, causing the brakes to lock up. He admits that it's a long shot but doesn't know what else could cause this problem

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.
