I once had one. It worked just fine, but when the power steering pump failed I pulled out the entire motor and installed a V-8...

I sold mine to a guy who thought it would be cool in his Chevy II.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...

Yet another "don't ask questions I can't answer" Ebayer

The poncho "sprint 6s" were put into lemans and firebirds in the late 60s. There was also a 4bbl option available, with 250 or so HP. Only prob is that the timing belt and upper timing pulley had a problem with breaking. Or so I was told by a coworker, who pulled the one from his 66 lemans to drop in a 389 GTO mill.

Boy that would look great with 3 side draft SU carbs mounted on a clean log manifold....... Hmmmmm...

My vague shaky memory seems to reinforce the timing belt problems on these motors. Of course GM has had to take more than one shot at some things over the years to get it right.....

Cheers....

The optional four barrel manifold accepts a Quadrjet and has a split exhaust manifold,I passed on one of those setups years ago that was cheap cause the owner did not know what it fit. I was eyeing it to see if I could adapt it to a 235 and I wish I would of bought it anyway.
