I have a lead on a '63 GMC Suburban. It has been hit hard in the front and the frame is bent pretty bad. The rest of the truck is in really nice shape. Is the frame specific to a Suburban/Carryall. How much difference is there in a pick-up frame? Thanks for any input.

there is an added foot or so on the back-if this part is good it could be cut off the burb frame & added to a shortbed pickup frame. Brian

I'm getting a 63 parts burb saturday...i'm in Rhode Island...when i get it i'll send ya pics. frame is straight. anyone else interested in parts let me know..3 on the tree 305 V6

got the 1960 burb parts sub!!!!!!!!!!!! great engine 3 on the tree front seats misc trim in and out barn doors excellent...pass door has crease..drivers doo good but rotted inside bottom

Taillites are stress crackeled....Gill and headlite doors crome..surface rust in some spots

I have the entire tail light assembly, including lens. Lights PM me if you want them.

Regarding the frame, I think the body mounting pads are in a little different location. But you certainly can modify them to fit. The rear part has an extension for mounting the bumper but you can take that off your existing frame.
If your current frame is not damage other than the fron horns, why not graft a 70-81 Camaro/Firebird clip?
Or as Joe mentioned, mount the body on a later model frame. Just remember to measure twice and cut once .
